Wow! It's been a long time since we've had a lazy mom tip.... Never fear! I'm back with a good one!
This one is something I use almost DAILY...
Ahhhh... Sharpie. It might be one of my most favorite mom things in the world. I carry one around with me in my "mom purse." Why? Because I mark EVERYTHING with it! When we go to McDonald's and the kids scamper off to play in the playland, I mark the top of my kids cups with their first initial. That way I don't have to remember who's cup is who's.
I also use my sharpie to mark the top of water bottles with initials as well. Those pesky little water bottles get mixed up all the time between the five of us, so I have fixed that problem by always marking the lid! It works great!
Just the other day we were at a kid's birthday party at a sort of "Chuck E. Cheese" type place. Each kid got a bag with nickels in it for the games. Foreseeing how horrible the mix up could be between kids, I whipped out my sharpie! Each kids name was on their bags in a matter of seconds (that's how good I am).
Then as the party favor bags started rolling out... well, you know what happened. Mr. Sharpie came to the rescue once again!
A Sharpie is an ESSENTIAL to a mom purse! Take my word for it.
I put this in my purse and have been surprised how many times i have used it so far. Just the other day we were cleaning a closet in the children's ministry hallway and said we probably should label these boxes before we put them back and Viola i grabbed my marker and went at it!! Thanks!
