Bring Back the Memories

Well it's another start to another week.  I think in the real world people call that "Monday."  In mother world, I think we call it "just another day," right?  Especially if you have preschoolers.  Then it's for real just like another day.

So this weekend lazy mom Chana posted an awesome Nastalgic Craft.  If you missed that you better go check it out immediately.  I seriously loved her post so much that I read it like 3 times back to back.

The reason I loved it could be due to the fact that I SO remember her wave maker.

It could also be because I totally pictured her old bedroom growing up when she said that her wave maker is probably still in there somewhere... "under the layers of dirt, old notes from high school, and relics of homecoming mums."

*sigh*

Good times, good times.

And these things might have happened because, well, lazy mom Chana and I have seriously been BFF's since before it was even cool to say BFF. (There actually was a time when it was cool to say BFF right?)  Namely, we've literally been friends since we were 2 years old.

Yes. That's right. The BFF title goes to us.  We totally claim it.  Although in our case we don't call ourselves BFF's, but FFE's, right Chan?  And I'll just let the rest of you wonder what that stands for, mkay?

Now I realize some of you may not have these aforementioned things happen to you when you read her post that I deemed, "practically perfect in every way" (name that movie!) because those aforementioned things will not happen to you when you read it like it did for me.

But, surely a lot of you will at least get a tear in your eye when you see and hear about the wave makers themselves.  I mean, how many of you out there had them?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Beuller?

So if you DID have one and the post DOES make you tear up a smidge (or at least bring back a memory of them) then leave a comment and tell us that you had one (or that you at least remember them!).

If you DIDN'T have one and her post does NOT make you tear up a smidge (or bring back a memory of them) then you are pittied beyond any man.

Well, not quite, but it sounded good when I typed it.

So instead, just leave a comment to guess the name of that movie I referenced!

And for the rest of you'ns.  Care to take a guess at what FFE means??

I dare ya!

No, I DOUBLE DOG DARE YA!

So there.
