Lazy Frosting and Fruit Dip

Another wonderful lazy mom has passed along recipes for a wonderfully easy frosting and fruit dip for us!

Don't you just love how we all help each other out?  I know I do!  So go and make these and tell me what you think in the comments area below.

Easy Frosting

1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup chocolate syrup, any brand

Mix together and use to frost brownies or cupcakes. We have spread this on top of purchased angel food cake or to top a scoop of ice cream. You can adjust the amounts of peanut butter vs. chocolate to suit your own family's tastes, or for a different consistency. Great for when you are out of canned frosting or confectioners sugar.

Easy Fruit Dip

1 8-oz container of whipped topping, any brand
1 (one) .25 oz. box of sugar free instant pudding, any flavor

Mix together. Use to dip strawberries, bananas, apple slices, etc. I have put this in a pretty bowl and surrounded it with seasonal fruit and taken it to parties and church potlucks and it always disappears. If you prefer not to use sugar-free products, just substitute a small box of any regular instant pudding.

Thanks Tammy for these oh so easy recipes!  I'm sure lazy moms everywhere appreciate it!

  1. My other go to fruit dip is half part cream cheese, half part powdered sugar. Mix mix mix. DONE! Its seriously the best. And if I didn't have any dignity you could just eat it with a spoon ( not that I know anything about that.)

  2. I make a similar fruit dip. I use one small container of whipped topping and one small container of vanilla yogurt. My kids especially like this dip with grapes and strawberries.
