However you are, come.  Sit a spell.  Get refreshed and encouraged by other moms wearing your same shoes.

Well, maybe not your SAME shoes.  That would be a little weird.  But you know what I mean.

My name is Stacey.  I'm one of the lazy moms here and I'm so glad you've stopped by!

I'm a Lazy Mom is a blog that was inspired by this conversation several years ago that lazy mom, Melis, had with her neighbor.  Basically, Melis called me up, told me the conversation and we both realized our new mission in life (well, at that moment anyway) was to help moms get lazy! 

Sounds a little strange, huh?  Stick with me...

So, we started this blog to help moms become the moms they always wanted to be. 

Moms that are in charge of their children and not vice versa. 
Moms that want to raise independent, obedient children.
Moms that want to have their sanity intact when their children leave the nest.

Can I get an amen?

So, we use the word "lazy mom" as kind of tongue-in-cheek.  We like to have a little fun with it I guess you could say.  On the other hand, there are some of us who are also lazy, Lazy Moms.  I may possibly fall in that category.  So it can get interesting!

Anyway, here's a quick way to find out if you are a lazy mom too. 

If you find that you already are a lazy mom, then welcome!  Welcome to a community of fellow lazy moms trying to encourage each other to be the best moms we can be.
