You let your kids sleep in their clothes that they wore all day long and then let them wear them again the next day.
That's when you know your a lazy mom.
But don't look down on me. When I first started letting this happen, it was out of necessity. Necessity of SANITY.
You see my middle child was two at the time and stubborn as a mule. I realized this fight was not worth the battle so I conceeded.
Anyone out there have a stubborn two year old? Hello? I needed to maintain what was left of my fleeting mental health at the time, can you blame me?
Then a funny thing happened. I started noticing that by him wearing his clothes two days in a row (and no pajamas), that my laundry was being cut down on.
Well, SCORE. On like, 3 points....
- Happy toddler.
- Sane mother.
- Less laundry.
And just so you know... the longest my child went in wearing the same clothing was three days. How's that for a confession for ya?
But I'm happy to report that he grew out of it, eventually.
What do you need to confess? Tell me about it....if you dare!
Muahahahaha!

Hi there-going through my blog roll & catching up on some. I've been sick this week, and my youngest wants to stay in his pj's all day-so I've let him. Which is usually a big no, no for me:)

I participated in the UBP10 too!!
Hop on by if you've got the time!

ReplyDeleteI'll be visiting your blog real soon! :)
Here's my confession--I plop my kid down in front of Blue's Clues (which he LOVES) so I can read blogs or play on my phone! :) And I let him wear his night time clothes all day too :)
ReplyDeleteGuilty of the same thing. My daughter's thing now is sleeping in her bathing suit cover. You know, the cute ones that everyone was wearing last year, that tie around your neck? Yep...she sleeps in it EVERY night. Whatever is all I have to say.
ReplyDeleteI must be a lazy mom too...even though I nag my son to wear pjs for bed he still doesn't do it! I love wearing PJ's really don't understand why he doesn't? Anyhow he throws a sweater on in the morning to camouflage that he is not planning to change...lol And sometimes(most times) I let him get away with it! But I like the above comments!!! Hey I just being "green"!
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I have 5 and do this ...er...often!! lol
ReplyDeleteI like to joke with Dear Hubby and say "hey look, they are already dressed, see"
Camie
I just found your blog and I think it is hilarious and a great idea to share the thing you do to get through a day. It can be tough but always worth it to be a sahm and it's always nice to remember we're all human. So I say keep the confessions coming:)
ReplyDeleteI may have done that few times. :) And lately, I've been dressing him the night before. Makes mornings so much easier!
