You may have noticed on my tweets yesterday that while we are at Family Camp, I totally brought my totally wonderful Lazy Mom Snack Bin totally with me. Totally.
I mean, that's one of the main reasons I made my snack bin portable, so it could be, well, portable. You know, as in, go places with us. As in, then I can be a lazy mom somewhere else other than home.
*ahem*
So while I have my totally wonderful Lazy Mom Snack Bin here at Family Camp I couldn't help but wonder to my totally wonderful self, "Self, I wonder if the totally wonderful lazy moms out there that have also made Lazy Mom Snack Bins have kept up with 'em?"
And so I'm left wondering.... have you???
Because as of late, here are our newest snack finds that totally grace our Lazy Mom Snack Bin.
We found these at Sam's Club and they are the totally perfect size for snacking. The kids love 'em (and so does The Lazy Dad).
We also have added these to our snack bin repertoire...
and I must say that these are fast becoming MY new favorite snack bin addiction of choice.
So if you've all been wondering if this here Lazy Mom has been keeping up with my snack bin, the answer is TOTALLY. I refill it about once a week or so. And it is totally one of the bestity, best, best things EVER.
Now it's your turn. Have you been keeping up with your Lazy Mom Snack Bin?!?!
'fess up!!
And by the way... I'd love any snack suggestions you may have. We're totally willing to try (almost) anything!
Totally.
P.S. No totally's were harmed in the making of this post.
P.P.S. I used 13 totally's in this post up until this one I just used to tell you about it, which makes 14.
P.P.P.S. Your welcome.

Totally absolutely using the snack bin everyday and YES ours did totally travel with us to the beach last week also.
ReplyDeleteMy kids like our smores in a bag snack. All you do is put in Golden Grahams, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips. These are a really great sweet treat. However they should not be eaten or left in the car!! Another Lazy thing I've started is I bought some water jugs (22 oz with sport tops) and keep them in the fridge. That way I don't have to make the many trips into the kitchen for the "Mom, I'm Thirsty" whines :)
ReplyDeleteI've kept our snack bin (drawer) pretty well stocked. It even has tiny little containers filled with snacks for the toddler. So easy to grab a container and couple things for the preschooler to toss in the diaper bag on our way out the door.
ReplyDeleteOur snack drawer currently has:
- microwave popcorn
- granola bars
- fruit leather
- pre-packaged peanut butter crackers
- raisins
- Baby Num Num snacks
divided in baggies:
- granola
- pumpkin seeds
- banana chips
- All bran crackers
in containers:
- multigrain cheerios
- Kashi honey sunshine
- animal crackers
I only restock every 3-4 wks. I think I'll pick up yogurt covered pretzels next time. DD loves those. :)
