Apparently the word has gotten out that I HATE CLEANING.
Because this last week two different company's sent me some of their cleaning products to try out and I'm excited to tell you about both of them.
Although for one of them you'll have to wait, because I'm only posting one today and not the other. In fact, the other will probably be posted next week. So if you schedule your Lazy Mom readings according to when cleaning products are talked about, you'll now have a schedule to go by.
Your welcome.
But today I'm excited to tell you wonderful lazy moms about a new floor cleaning system called O-Cedar ProMist™ Wet or Dry Floor Cleaning System!
And I'm even more excited to tell you that two, yes that's right, TWO of you will win a ProMist for your own lazy household!
Eeeeeeee!

As you can see, this floor cleaning system is very similar to a Swiffer Wet Jet. And in fact, I thought maybe they would be so similar that I wouldn't really care for the ProMist.
But I was wrong.
(By the way, that is not me in the picture. Nor is that my house. My house is never that clean. That's how you should have known that picture wasn't me, nor was it my house. Plus I don't really take pictures of myself cleaning. Especially seeing that I avoid cleaning at pretty much all costs. Although, that would be a good argument for someone to take a picture of me cleaning... seeing that it's so rare. Are you still reading this?)
The ProMist is great. I mean, really great. I think the thing I liked about it the most was the spray on it. It sprays out so perfectly lovely (did I just say that about something involving cleaning?!) that I was almost taken aback by it.
Actually, scratch that.
I was taken aback by it! It's spray nozzle is like 10 times better than Swiffer's Wet Jet.
Sorry Swiffer. I'm just sayin'.
It also includes two types of reusable microfiber pads: a durable pad which can be washed up to 100 times and a semi-disposable pad that can be washed or tossed—great for messy spills! So this handy dandy ProMist is enviromentally friendly as well!
Plus, another bonus to the ProMist is the fact that the mop has a refillable bottle that allows lazy moms the choice to use their favorite cleaning solution or water only. Which I also really liked because I was in control of what I put on my floors to clean them.
So the benefits of a ProMist floor cleaning system are that:
It offers a thorough, convenient clean every time.
The reusable microfiber pads lift and trap dirt and grime. Since they are reusable, it helps save money and is more eco-friendly.
It is safer for moms and pet owners to clean due to the refillable bottle—choose your own cleaner!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of washing the pads and controlling the solution. I'd just put in some antibacterial wash and water. NICE product!
ReplyDeleteI follow you on FB, Twitter and Google Reader! :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, O love the idea of being able to reuse the pads! I love the swiffer because in addition to two teenagers, I have a dog and two cats who all shed fur like crazy.
ReplyDeleteI would probably add a little pine sol because I have a "thing" about the smell of pinesol! It just smells clean to me!

ReplyDeletehmmm... what type of cleaning solution. I would probably try something that was "green" - perhaps a combo of vinegar and water, or maybe one of the green clean solutions you can buy from the store. I have a crawling kid right now, that tends to eat everything off the floor.
ReplyDeleteI think I would look for some kind of homemade cleaning solution--not sure which one. This looks great!

I would use a homemade solution and hot water. I have about 1500 sf of tile in my house and this would really come in handy. Maybe it would spur me on to clean it more!

ReplyDeleteI like the idea of both soap and water or the vinegar...but I DO love the smell of lemon-just reminds me of "clean" with little work, so maybe a little mr clean lemon stuff in there too.
ReplyDeleteI am a facebook liker too
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to google reader/friend thingy too.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably use my standard white vinegar & water solution. I SO want one of these - our new house is going to have "fake wood" laminate on the entire main level.

ReplyDeleteYes! I NEED one of those! I have all wood floors in my house and this would be perfect so I don't have to get down on my hands and knees to clean the kitchen floor. I would probably put this cleaning solution in it, which is what I am currently using:
ReplyDeletevinegar
borax
hot water
castile liquid soap (I like eucalyptis sent)
I'd use Murphy Oil Soap!
ReplyDeletei use vinegar water on my floor. love the ease of it!
ReplyDeletei'm a follower and subscriber by rss
ReplyDeleteI would put water and vinegar solution in it, only because since we redid our floors before we moved into the 100 yr old farm house two years ago, I have only used water and vinegar, and then on and off a hot steam floor cleaner..on my floors...I am a blog follower and will soon be a facebook follower
ReplyDeleteI would love a good eco-cleaning solution for our bamboo floors. :)
ReplyDeleteVinegar and water
ReplyDeleteI am a fb follower :)

This is great, I love that you can use your own cleaner in it. I haveball hardwoods and have been using a spray bottle and a regular swiffer handle with a microfiber cloth. This would be so much easier. I would fill it with vinegar and water with a little lime essential oil for scent.
ReplyDeleteI would use water.

ReplyDeleteI'd find some lazy solution that cut through the constant tracking through the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI'd start by using up the 4 things of swiffer formula that I got for $1 each last week. ;) Then I'd use a vinegar-based homemade solution. Cheap and non-toxic!
