Kids Camp (aka: A Lazy Mom's Vacation)

So I'm sitting at the most wonderful place on earth.

No, I'm not at Disney World.

Or Italy.

Or Hershey's Chocolate World.

I'm at our state's Kids Camp.

Yes, in less than 5 hours our church campgrounds will be flooded with well over 300 kids.

Mm, hmm.

As if I don't get enough of my own three little darlings, I decided to be around 300+ other ones for the next five days.

What can I say?  The Lazy Dad and I are gluttons for punishment I guess.

Well, actually we love doing our state's Kids Camp.

In fact, it's down right fantabulous.

In fact, I love it here.

In fact, it's basically a Lazy Mom vacation.

Now I know that may sound crazy, but when you see where I get to live for the next five days and all the little perks to being here, I think you'll see why this Lazy Mom LOVES our Kids Camp and considers it a vacay.

Let me show you the top two reason why Kids Camp is a Lazy Mom vacay.

Reason number 1... check out the place we get to stay.

I just LOVE this cabin so much.  In fact I'd like to own one some day.  But I guess as long as The Lazy Dad still does this Camp Director gig, I don't need to.

This sweet little cabin is one of the reasons I love Kids Camp and why Kids Camp is a Lazy Mom's vacay.  You see here in this darling little cabin I don't have to clean, change sheets or even wash towels.

In fact, when I need fresh towels, I just put the hamper of dirty towels out on the front porch and then fresh clean ones magically appear later in the day.

It's a beautiful thing really.

It brings tears to my eyes every time it happens.

It's an emotional thing, Kids Camp.

Anyway, the second reason Kids Camp is a Lazy Mom vacay is this place...

Now this may seem like any old "cafeteria" to you guys, but you'd be dead wrong.  This place may possibly be the closest thing to Lazy Mom heaven as you can get.  Think about it...

Lazy Mom feels a rumbly in the tumbly.
Lazy Mom's kids feel a rumbly in the tumbly.
Lazy Mom notes that it is meal time at Kids Camp.
Lazy Mom walks kids over to cafeteria and [insert angelic music here] food is magically sitting there ready to be eaten.

Again.  Tears.  In eyes.

I told you Kids Camp is an emotional time for me.

So yes.  Those are the top two reasons why Kids Camp is a Lazy Mom vacay.

And if you'd like to see more reasons for why this is true, then you can follow my tweets from Kids Camp this week.  In fact, I already started my Kids Camp tweets yesterday. Just watch for #kidscamp in my tweets and you'll see them.

Although sometimes I forgot to put #kidscamp at the end of them.

So don't hold your breath on that one.

Or you may pass out.

And I'd hate to be responsible for you passing out.
