Lazy Mom Tip #39

So I'm thinking you all are not liking the super fly baby/toddler tips I'm posting, because I've gotten very little comments about them.

*humph*

But I'm going to turn my frown upside down and try again with another GREAT tip sent in by lazy mom Angela.  Here's what she had to say...

We now live in a two story house with the bedrooms on the second floor. I don’t want to climb those stairs every time my girl needs her diaper changed! So I keep a stash of all the diaper changing necessities (and an extra outfit) on the first floor so I can go up the stairs less often. My knees are much happier for it!
And when I read her fabuloso tip she emailed to me it once again reminded me that I used to do this!  See how good you all are for me?!  My Sweet 'n Low numbed memory thanks you.

Yes, this is a GREAT tip if you have a multi-level house.  When our babies were, well, babies, we lived in two story apartments with all the rooms upstairs.  Thus making the changing table and diaper supplies UP stairs.

And seeing how you all know I'm lazy and all, this simply would not do.  So I resorted to keeping diapering essentials just like Angela mentioned in a cute little basket on the main floor.  The basket even had a handy dandy handle on it so I could grab it easily and take it to wear I was doing the changing for that moment.

I love this tip so much and can't thank Angela enough for stirring the few remaining memory cells I have left by sending this great tip in!

P.S. That is not a picture of the basket I used, it's a random one I found on the internet.

  2. I use to do that too. I also kept toys in every room of the house so I would always have toys on hand at a moments notice!

  4. I do the same thing. Except mine is not as fancy in a cute little basket. With my first I started with a basket downstairs but it quickly became a toy basket and I never got another basket. Now I hide the diapers between the wall and our overstuffed chair and almost always have an outfit on top of the dryer (sometimes folded) or still in the dryer :-) I do have a basket on my nightstand with diapers, wipes, and lotion bc i don't like a messy nightstand. I need to wake up to a clean area to start the day off right b4 i look at the rest of my house which is not so clean :-)

  5. My diaper bag always has an extra pack of wipes, a changing pad, and diapers in it, so I just keep that downstairs and use it. What makes me extra lazy is that when I see I'm out or nearly out of something, I send one of my older 2 kids upstairs to get more.
