Trash Can Confession

This here is the current state of my kitchen trash.

No wait. You might think too highly of me, so let me restate that...

This here has been the current state of my kitchen trash all week.

There. That should bring me down a few notches on that high pedestal you've all placed me on.

Yup. I walk past that trash can how many times a day and just didn't want to deal with it.

Anyone else out there with me?

Or am I all alone in my utter laziness?

  1. Oh I am right there with you! I HATE taking the trash out and often will let it sit under the sink until my husband finally gives in and takes it out.

  2. I leave mine under the sink until it smells, I can't cram anything in there, or my husband takes it out.

  3. It looks to me like your trash can is too small!! Get a bigger one so you can empty it less often! =)

  4. DEFINITELY not alone! I knew a mom with one of those big school cafeteria garbage cans on wheels for that same reason.

We burn our garbage out here, but some stuff (like diapers) don't burn. And I usually take them to school with me. But in the summer, it's a Baaaaaddd situation. Let's just leave it at that.

  5. I have a tip for you! (ooo I like that! - hehe) Recycle that paper! I recycle all paper, cans and bottles and my garbage can doesn't get filled up as much! That's my lazy tip.

  7. I have one up on you....at any given time during the week my garbage looks like that and there is a full bag of garbage sitting next to the garbage can waiting to be taken out. Nice huh? :)

  8. Totally not alone! My kitchen trash and my recycling can is like that all the time, because I'm too lazy to take it out to the garage! I ask The "man of the house" to do it, and he says, "I'm not the only one who can take out the trash you know!" Sheesh!!!

  9. Haha... too funny. My post tomorrow is all about "true confessions" of my lazy/messy-ness. And I'm an organizing junkie!

  10. Pumping gas, hauling trash, and mowing the lawn are three chores I do not do. ;)
