Is Your Christmas Present This Fun?

WARNING!

THIS IS A TOP SECRET BLOG POST.

A CHRISTMAS PRESENT WILL BE EXPOSED.

ANYONE WHO READS THIS POST IS SWORN TO SECRECY.

IF YOU'RE STILL READING THIS POST YOU AGREE TO BE SWORN TO SAID SECRECY.

YOU ARE NOW OBLIGATED NOT TO TELL.

DO YOU HEAR ME? DON'T. TELL.

IF YOU HEARD ME, SAY THE FOLLOWING OUT LOUD:

"I WILL NOT TELL ANYONE RELATED TO THE LAZY FAMILY ABOUT THIS CHRISTMAS PRESENT. IF I DO TELL ANYONE RELATED TO THE LAZY FAMILY ABOUT THIS CHRISTMAS PRESENT I WILL BE SENTENCED TO ONE YEAR HARD LABOR AT THE LAZY FAMILY'S HOUSE. AND NO ONE SHOULD EVER WANT TO DO THAT EVER."

Thanks.  Now I can show you the Christmas present.

And I'm kind of hoping one of you does tell so I can get some hard labor around here.

Okay.  I'm SUPER excited about this Christmas present that The Lazy Dad and I are giving to some random person (who shall remain nameless) in our family.

You've seen our family pictures, right?

But you haven't seen them like this....

... on a throw blanket!!!

When I first ordered the blanket I have to say I wasn't real sure I'd like it.  Because even though I'm a huge fan of personalized gifts, I am not so much a huge fan of photo gifts.  Not sure why.  Maybe I need photo gift counseling or something.  But at any rate, I wasn't prepared to LOVE this gift.

Did you hear me?

I said I LOVE this gift.

First of all, I ordered it from PhotoWeavers.com.  And can I just say.... I was SUPER impressed with their whole operations there.

A few days after I uploaded my picture I got an email from Photo Weavers saying "We wanted to let you know that your PictureWeave image was beautiful and is being manufactured in our weave mill. We will make sure that it weaves to our highest standards."

Then, once it was ready to ship I got an email saying, "All of us in shipping are excited to let you know that today we shipped your order."

And I have to say I was VERY impressed by those two emails.  They weren't just regular run-of-the-mill emails, they were sincere run-of-the-mill emails, and I appreciate that.  Truly.

When I received the blanket in the mail and laid it out to look at it, I was even more impressed.  Seriously. The moment I laid eyes on it I just loved it.  Although it's a little hard NOT to love something that has a picture of your family on it.

Plus, I soon discovered the other thing I love about this photo gift.

I can have a little fun with it.

I can make my kids shorter...

And I can make The Lazy Dad look, well, the way he normally looks ...

And because I made fun of him, he got mad and squeezed my head until it deflated...

... and apparently enjoyed every minute of doing so.

So I crumpled his face up.

And all the while the children kept smiling...

Now I just have 6 words for you...

Is your Christmas present that fun?

If not, you better head on over to PhotoWeavers.com and get you one. And if you use coupon code: gwlmr you'll receive 25% off through November!

It will totally liven up your Christmas.

Psssst! Go enter to win your own Photo Blanket here!

I would like to thank Photo Weavers for the opportunity to try their photo weaving process for free in exchange for my honest review of their product. This in no way affected my opinion, I truly was impressed!

  1. Wow! That is really cool! That would make a great gift. Only problem is I don't have an updated picture. It would look so good with the kids on it! I love photo gifts! I just made a book for my grandma for Christmas from shutterfly. I'll head over there now and check it out!

  2. Coolest gift idea ever. But I'm pregnant with #4 right now so we'll have to wait a year! I'm thinking next year... a photo of the kids made into a couple blankets for the grandparents! It's an awesome keepsake!
