I just LOVE it when people visit this blog and totally get what it's all about!
Because believe it or not, some people don't get it.
Although. I can see why. Lazy throws 'em all off.
Especially seeing that I am usually posting about how I am lazy. Because sadly, I am sometimes.
And I use the word "sometimes" loosely. Very loosely.
*ahem*
Anyway, today I'm thankful for those of you who "get it."
Here are some of you shining stars....
I love the creativity of your blog...very catching! I'm definitely with you on kids all sharing in the household responsibilities. I just have an 8 mo. old so far but am definitely planning to be a "lazy mom" :) I love your emphasis on not having to many outside activities. That is SOOO important. I don't want my kids to have an exhaustingly busy childhood and not know how to enjoy family and relationships and SLOW DOWN and focus on the most important things!!! ~ Amy @ thecheapandchoosy.blogspot.com--
Hi! I have to say that I love your blog and all it stands for. I am so glad that you are taking a stand for parenting that will create useful members of society! ~ Lisa @ homemadehodgepodge.blogspot.com--
I really enjoy your blog. I'm a new mom, and I've watched so many women throughout my life work SO hard doing everything for their kids and I just knew when I got pregnant that I was never going to live up to that standard. I ditched the perfect mom vision early and LOVE all the tips and recipes and such that you put out there for all the lazy moms like me. I also appreciate how your site brings us all together, so I don't feel so alone in my quest for continued laziness. :-) ~ Melissa aka: "WarriorWife"--
I keep meaning to comment on your blog since I love it so much. You make a very good point. I'm amazed at how many people are turning the education and training of their children over to everyone else. Teaching your kids early allows a certain amount of being able to relax later. ~ Karen

LIKE! Now I am off to put turn a garage into a birthday extravaganza (not that big) for a little girl who will turn 8 Tuesday but is having her friends over for the first time tomorrow. Downside: she is not feeling so great! ACK!!!! Send a prayer that she and her sister (probably having sympathy pains but maybe not... )are feeling better tomorrow morning!
ReplyDeleteYou have a new fan! You summed up my parenting philosophy just beautifully. Love it!
