I'm Off the Grid

I don't know if you noticed, but at about, oh... 11:02am Central Standard Time yesterday, I went off the grid.

Yes that's right. We hit Central Wisconsin and suddenly all cell phone capabilities OTHER than those archaic things called calling and texting (and even then that's limited) went out on me.  Apparently Central Wisconsin doesn't believe in smart phones or 3G abilities or my incessant need to update you all on Twitter and Facebook throughout my day.  How dare they.

And this brings me great sadness.  Sadness because I had such great pictures to upload on Twitter and Facebook for you yesterday.  Pictures and status updates that would have made you laugh.  And possibly cry.  Well... with laughter that is.

And I'm so sad that you can't experience these things as they unfold.  Because sometimes things just aren't as funny HOURS later or whenever I can finally sit down and blog about it.

*sigh*

Anyway, it looks like I'm going to be off the grid till Tuesday.  But don't cry for me lazy moms, the truth is I never left you. *cue music* All through my wild days... my mad existence, I kept my promise... don't keep your distaaaaaance.

Oh, sorry.  Eva Peron moment.

Anyway, don't cry, lazy moms, don't cry.  We'll always have Paris... er, uh, we'll always have this blog I mean.  But maybe one day we'll have Paris too??  Lazy Mom conference anyone?!  Ooooor... maybe we'll all just sit around and watch Casablanca together instead.  That may be a little more doable.

Anywho, we have this blog my lazy, lazy friends.  Well, for now anyway.  At any moment Central Wisconsin might just realize that this is my only source of communication with you and snatch it away from me too.  *shudder*  But let's hope not.

For now, I'll just leave you with this picture to cheer you up a little since I'm sure you are all in the depths of despair over my off the grid-edness.  (You all are in the depths of despair, aren't you?!)
