Last night The Lazy Dad went to another hockey game.
And also last night my 9 year old threw up eleventy hundred billion times.
Well okay, I exaggerate. I lost track of how many times it was, but it probably wasn't that much. I do know that it happened every. single. hour. last night. And about that I do not exaggerate.
Boy howdy, I haven't been up every. single. hour. of the night since I had a newborn. I'm exhausted, but I press on. I'm hard pressed on every side, but not crushed. I'm perplexed, but not in despair! I'm struck down, but not destroyed!!!
Oh wait. I went into preaching mode. Sorry.
That's what happens when you're married to a Pastor. And you're sleep deprived.
In fact, I'm almost certain anything I say today may not make sense. And although you all are suddenly wondering if I am sleep deprived EVERY day, you'd be wrong. I just tend to not make much sense whether I'm sleep deprived or not.
In other unrelated news, have I told y'all that we're headed to Wisconsin soon?
Well, not me and you, me and my little lazy family.
I felt I should clarify that since I think I heard someone yell "ROAD TRIP!" after that first statement.
Sorry to disappoint.
Oh, and did you all realize that The Lazy Dad is from Wisconsin? Yes, he is. And I'm from Texas, remember? This keep things, shall we say... interesting.
Anyway, we are headed to Wisconsin for my brother-in-law's wedding. So I may or may not be AWOL on this here blog while we're gone, but you can believe I'll for sure be tweeting and facebooking about things. Should prove to be, shall we say... interesting.
I have lots of laundry, packing, errands, and cleaning to do before we leave. All things I thoroughly enjoy in life. Well, I don't mind the errands so much, except I'm sleep deprived, remember? Anything you normally enjoy doing suddenly becomes a chore when you're sleep deprived. Um, like blogging.
Yeah, so I think I'll end the madness now. But before I do, be sure and link up to the Lazy Mom Holiday Meet and Greet that's still going on today (till 5pm EST). Oh, and also be sure and link up tomorrow for A Lazy Walk Down Memory Lane! Link up any old blog post. It makes for great lazy blogging!
And one more thing, I'm sleep deprived. Did I tell you that yet?
Public Service Announcement: Sleep deprivation is a horrible disorder found mainly in mother's with young children, but this isn't always the case. When dealing with a sleep deprived mother simply get out of her way, stand as still as possible, avoid eye contact, and only speak when spoken to. This will increase your chances of making it out alive.
Side affects of sleep deprivation include, but are not limited to: zombie like appearances, mumbling to oneself, sporadic and often unprovoked yelling, and the persons inability to make sense. Also under serious scrutiny is sleep deprivations possible relationship to jiggly thighs. Although that hasn't been proven yet.
Consider yourself warned. This was a Public Service Announcement.
