Lazy Mom Fudge

After two snow days here in our neck of the woods, and after my pitiful cry for chocolate at the end of yesterday's post, I felt it appropriate to post a new Lazy Mom Recipe that Lazy Mom Angela emailed me -- Lazy Mom Fudge.

Let's all just pause a minute there and let that really sink in.

Lazy.

Mom.

Fudge.

I was just so moved by that I think tears sprang to my eyes.

Anyway Angela says this is the easiest and cheapest fudge you can make, like, ever.

Okay, she didn't say "like, ever."  I added that part because I like to say, "like, ever" in that valley girl kind of voice that my sister and our friends and I used to talk in when we were, like, in middle school and like, it makes me feel like happy to like, say it, like, that.

Sorry you had to witness that.

Let's just move on to the recipe.

Lazy Mom Fudge

1 bag of old fashioned creme drops candy (Angela gets them for $1 a bag at the Family Dollar store)
2tbsp. of butter or margarine
1/2 c. of peanut butter

Angela's instructions:

Add everything into a microwave safe bowl.  Put in microwave for 3 minutes, but times may vary by microwave. I always stir at the half point and go from there.

Get an 8x8 pan out and ready, spray with Pam (or any bakers spray, except I do NOT recommend olive oil).

Pull the mixture out of microwave and stir really well.  Pour into prepared pan and wait about 45 minutes.  Don't cover it if you don't have to. Cut into 1 inch squares or whatever really and enjoy!

Can someone just bury me alive in that last picture please? I'm pretty sure that's how I'd like to die.

Well, not really.

But I do know where I'm going when I die, so that's a plus!

Anyway, a big thank you to Angela.  I think this Lazy Mom Fudge is the perfect treat after two snow days!
