Today is things I've been meaning to do day!

So today I thought I'd show you a few things I've been meaning to do in my car.
*gulp*
Yup. I'm going to go there.
And then I BEG OF YOU to tell me your car looks the same way as mine. Lie to me if you have to.
Oh wait.
I can't condone lying.
Scratch that.
(but please tell me your car looks like mine)
I've been meaning to empty out this catch-all area in our console:
Especially the sunscreen stick. Been meaning to take that out when summer ended back in September.
Oh, and that needle and thread spool. Can't quite recall how that got in the car, but it's been there a LONG time.
And how gross is that Meijer receipt?? I was going to take something back that I bought, but the receipt got all wet so I didn't. And so it sits. For some
I've been meaning to take this candle in to my house since Lazy Dad preached a sermon on *blush* I can't remember *blush* and he passed candles out to us all as a way to *blush* remember the message.
This bad boy has been riding around in my car since early December I think. *blush*
I've been meaning to take this bag of plastic sacks in to Walmart and put them in the recycling bin. I go to Walmart practically EVERY day, just can't seem to remember to bring those dern things in with me!
I've been meaning to take in this game and books and DVD's in to my house since someone at our church returned them to us several weeks ago. They've just been chilling on the floor board waiting patiently for that day to happen. What good little patient things they are.
I've been meaning to use this coupon book... all throughout 2010.
Oh and this one I bought for 2011... (at least I still have some time on that one).
I've also been meaning to empty out our console compartment that is stuffed with crazy things that might even surprise me. It's a deep dark abyss in there people. I'm always afraid I'll lose a finger when I have to go scrounging around in there.
In fact, I think I may feel a vlog coming on about what's contained in that there compartment.
Hmmmm... I'll have to think about that....

Sorry, the one place I keep spotless is my car... well, not spotless, the car is dirty inside and out since the winter, but there are no ITEMS sitting in there. I heard once that items loose in your car become flying, possibly deadly debris in an accident... then I saw it in evidence when my husband got in an accident in his work truck and his tools flew a tenth of a mile down the road... I keep nothing inside my car that doesnt fit in the glove box or the elbow thingy. Whew.

You would think I was a dam hoarder if you looked into my car. It is so bad. And yes, I keep meaning to clean it but something always distracts me from doing so. I think I need some TLC help!

When I had 3 children at home we literally seemed to live in our suburban! My well behaved children threw everything into the back, fast food wrappers, old school papers, extra clothes, and yes...cereal bowls! My father, observing the mess, suggested we RAKE it out once a month!! I guess the gene got passed down to you...sorry. Love, mom

ReplyDeleteMy husband is a lazy mom! haha, well really he just always has a super messy car. Its ok though, I have a messy bathroom counter right now. you can call me lazy too!
