I just couldn't stand it any longer!
Here we are, days away, and we hadn't told our kids we are going to Disney World. I was DYING people. Straight up DYING to tell them.
So my brother called me when he left working at Disney last night and we got to talking about different ways I could tell the kids. And while we were talking, he came up with a brilliant idea... have a Disney character tell them!
So today, when my brother's family got to the park, they searched for a character (that could talk) and shot a video of "the cousins" and Tinker Bell breaking the news...
(yes, it turns sideways and I couldn't find a way to make it not do that)
(and in case you're wondering, A B C stands for my kids' names and our family calls them that a LOT)
So I call my kids over to the computer this afternoon and have them play the video. And you know what their reaction was??
This.
Yup. Went REAL well.

OMG that is hysterical! At least your daughter seemed excited... Gotta love kids, you can never tell how they'll react. Give them a bit and I'm sure they'll be more excited once it sinks in! If not can you adopt me? I love Disney World! LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteWell at least they've got cute going for em? ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL! The only thing they are concerned about was the fact that the video was sideways...LOL
ReplyDeleteHa ha too cute!
ReplyDeleteLol! Too funny! Surprised my daughter back in march...on our way to the airport. She figured out we were near the airport and started crying when she realized she wasn't going to school that day. There was a big celebration for Doctor Suess' bday. But she stopped crying when i asked where she thought we were going. But yeah...not exactly the reaction I'd wanted.
ReplyDeleteThat is HILARIOUS! Have fun!! (And feel free to invite us along!!)
ReplyDelete"Why is it sideways?"
ReplyDeleteLOL.
See, you already told them a long time ago...
Kids are too funny.
Well, they are happy now, finally.
That's a classic! Love the way they were so excited they just walked off (with a bit of brotherly love thrown in). Maybe I should be enjoying my son's crazy toddler enthusiasm while it lasts.
ReplyDeletelaughing, laughing, laughing! that could not have gone any better! well, Abby sure loved seeing Tinker Bell on my computer :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
ReplyDeletehahaha i liked when their heads turned sideways to watch the video!
have a fun time with the family sweetie :)
I truly believe that those Disney commercials are staged.. Most kids honest reaction to going to Disney world is utter disbelief!
ReplyDeleteMy kids were the same way. I really had to spend a few hours showing them you tube videos of the rides for them to get excited.
That was so cute!! It definitely took them a bit to realize!!
ReplyDelete*Snicker* what cuties, and such family love shown. Praying for the babe, since she got "choked" *sniffle* poor baby. I had an older brother too. Seriously, have a blast, we can't wait to read the tweets!
