Well my lazy friends.
In your world it may be Labor Day, but in MY world it's also 'Things I've Been Meaning To Do' Day!
Why don't you write a blog post of things you've been meaning to do around your neck of the woods and link it up with mine down at the bottom, mkay?
For some reason it's a catch-all for me.
I've been meaning to make that cute wreath Traci taught us all how to make.
What? I bet you have too.
I've been meaning to finish unloading these suitcases Lazy Dad and I used on our trip to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.
I tend to unpack them as I wear things out of them, but seeing as these bad boys are sitting precariously on the back of my couch and I have company coming over today, it's time to just finish them off already.
I've been meaning to fold the clean clothes in this basket.
And the even bigger basket across the room.
I've been meaning to take our Birthday Banner down that we pull out on birthdays at our house (like we do with our birthday block)
It's only been hanging up for a week loner than it should be. That's not TOO bad. For a lazy mom. Right?
That's what I've been meaning to do.... what about you?

I don't have a blog but I've got A BIG "I've been meaning to.."...clean out the garage. In anticipation of winter (wanting to fit my car in there) and a possible upcoming move, my garage (AKA: The Black Hole) HAS to be cleaned out. It's the place where all our junk goes to die. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteWash walls that baby girl has been drawing on. The baseboards really need cleaning in all the major areas for reals!!
ReplyDeleteI finally potted a plant I got a clipping from an Aunt this summer. Repotting and slpitting into 4 is mom's peace lily from her passing 5 years ago.
I made a Cookie bar (cookie batter, with cookies on top covered in brownie mix)yeah thanks a lot pintrest.. and baked that I am going to serve tonight for the family with icecream...
I love the "move clean clothes from one pile/receptacle to another" game! I have one particular batch o' laundry that has worked its way to three spots in the last three weeks. (Laundry basket, bed, table.)
ReplyDeleteYour posts make me feel less alone! ;-)

Is there a recipe for those Cookie Bars, Lisa? (as if my hips can hold another dessert!)
ReplyDelete@Bizz - I don't know if this is the exact recipe that Lisa used, but it's one that I have on my Pinterest and sounds a lot like hers!
ReplyDeleteHere you go!
