I'm Related to Tom Hanks

It's true!

I found out yesterday that Tom Hanks and I are related.

And now that I think about it, there's totally a resemblance. See?

No?

Well, how 'bout now?

Still no?

Well then how 'bout this one?

There.  I knew you'd see it.

Yes, turns out Tom Hanks and I are relatives in the closest sense of the word.

His Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather is also my Grandfather.

So see?  We're practically kissing cousins.

Well, 7th kissing cousins once removed. Er... something like that.

And so I fully expect an invite to Thanksgiving this year Cousin Tom!  I'll be waiting for the jet to pick me up at the airport, mkay?

Or... or at least an autographed Christmas card?? 

Okay, okay, I'll settle for a fruit basket and your acceptance to star in one of my vlogs.

Speaking of vlogs, when I announced this discovery on my Facebook page yesterday one of you kindly said, "that explains the awesome acting in those vlogs!"

And all I have to say about that is this: CLEARLY.

I mean, if that was acting.... actually it's a little bit more like me just being me.  Shocking, I know.

But anyway!  Here's to Cousin Tom!  And that Hawaiian vacation he's going to take us all on to get acquainted!  Cheers!
