I was all set and ready to post another lazy Christmas cookie recipe today when low-and-behold if my friend Charlotte didn't walk into our MOPS group last night with the very thing I was going to write about today.
And you know what? Her way of making it was WAAAAAY lazier. I mean, as lazy as you can possibly get, people.
But before I show you HER lazy way of making this yummy treat that Lazy Dad's family likes to eat during the Christmas season, I'll show you how you can make it pretty lazily yourself. Then you can decide which method of laziness works for you. The lazy method, or the WAY lazy method.
First, the lazy method:
Puppy Chow
1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
4 squares of Semi-Sweet Chocolate
8 cups bite-size Chex Cereal
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Microwave peanut butter and chocolate in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
Add cereal in the chocolate and toss to evenly coat. Spread the mixture into a single layer on waxed paper, separating cereal pieces so they don't touch. Cool completely.
Once the cereal is cooled, place the cereal pieces in ziploc bags (or one big brown paper grocery bag) and add powdered sugar. Shake to coat! (fun for the kids to do!)

And now for the WAY lazy method....
Go to your grocery store and buy this.
Cause it's the SAME. EXACT. THING. people.
Charlotte sent me home with what was left of it last night and Lazy Dad LOVED it.
Let's just say he didn't need to know that the WAY lazy method existed, mkay?
Oh! And speaking of MOPS last night (I mentioned it at the beginning of this post if that just confused you) the very talented Traci Romine, who, as you all know, writes on this here blog every other Wednesday for our Decorating the Lazy Mom Way series, was our guest speaker last night!
Yes, we Skyped her in from her home in Minneapolis and she taught our moms how to decorate their house on a dime for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She showed us tablescapes, and walked us around her home showing us her amazing frugal ideas! She even did a tutorial for us and demonstrated how to make rosettes! FAB. U. LOUS.
I highly recommend her for your ladies events!! Seriously y'all, look her up and book her now! She's a beautiful person who God has given great gifts in this area and she loves to share with women how they can make their home beautiful without breaking the bank. I'm serious, GO BOOK HER NOW!
See you tomorrow for another great Lazy Mom Christmas Cookie Week recipe!

Love it! Another great post! Esp. the Way Lazy Method! You gave me a chuckle!
