Lazy Mom Christmas Cookie Week: Rolo Turtles

Surprise! I'm back with another Christmas treat for you today!

When I saw these floating around on the internet I just HAD to incorporate them into this week's Lazy Mom Christmas Cookie Week extravaganza!  (This is an extravaganza, is it not?)

What I'm about to show you needs to come with a warning label.

*warning!* Prepare to drool uncontrollably if you proceed any further.
*warning!* Prepare to be overcome with the desire to lick your computer screen.
*warning!* Prepare to eat an entire recipe's worth of these and weigh 10 pounds heavier in the morning.

There. That should do.  Cause these bad boys are bad to the bad, bad, bone.

Sorry you just witnessed me saying that. This recipe will do crazy things to you.

Let's move on already!

Rolo Turtles

1 12 oz. bag of Rolos
1 10 oz. bag of pretzels
About 50 pecan halves

Preheat oven to 220 degrees.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Lay pretzels out on the cookie sheet and place a single, unwrapped Rolo on the top of each pretzel.

Bake for three minutes and immediately press pecan on top of the Rolo. Allow to chill in the fridge until set.

HELL. O.  GORGEOUS.

Wait. Did I just cuss?

I meant hello.  But it came out as HELL. O. in my head.

I'll be sure and repent for that when I repent for leading you all astray with this recipe.  And when I repent for lying to my kids yesterday to cover up a Christmas present surprise my middle child tried to ruin for my youngest child.

Gosh.  I have a lot of repenting to do.

See you tomorrow!

  1. Hmmm...I'm wondering if these would turn out in the microwave, with less time, of course. Can it get any lazier!? They look delish!

  3. Is your Master plan to make us all more fluffy?

  4. Why yes, yes it is. If you all get fluffier, then I appear less fluffy.
