I did a bit of organizing in my email inbox recently. I won't bore you with the sordid, emotional, wretched details it involved. (Those email inboxes cause much angst, no?)
Anyway, I persevered through the sludge of my flooded inbox and now have things all nice and orderly and set to sort incoming emails with amazing speed and accuracy!
(Oh wait, I promised NOT to bore you.)
So wouldn't you know it, sitting all buried and desperately crying for attention in my inbox sat a lonely little lovely Lazy Mom Recipe. (Say that three times fast.)
I brushed it off, cuddled it, drooled over it, and am now giving it the attention it deserves in life. Here for your jiggly thigh pleasure....
Lazy Chess Squares
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
3 eggs
4 cups (1 lb) powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
Preheat oven to 300Āŗ and spray a 9×13 dish with cooking spray.
Mix together cake mix, melted butter and one egg to a soft dough. Press into the bottom of the pan. Then mix powdered sugar, softened cream cheese and remaining two eggs until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Pour on top of crust.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until top is golden brown.
