We here at I’m a Lazy Mom are celebrating! Celebrating the amazing feat of hitting 30, count ’em 30 Lazy Mom Tips!
Yes, that may be a bit lame in your opinion, especially seeing that we started posting them back in 2007, but you fail to remember that we’re LAZY. So see? 30 blog-o-licious tips in three years is mind boggling when seen in that light, am I right?!
So today, before I get to tip #30, I have an announcement to make! In honor of our 30th tip, I’d like to inform you that my honey has graciously given the Lazy Moms our own domain name!
Because I’m excited about it! So if you find I’m a Lazy Mom by way of our address every time you visit, you may want to change that tactic. In fact, why don’t you just subscribe to us already? Or have the Lazy Moms laziness inspiring posts sent to you by email? I mean, aren’t we an item yet?! I sure thought we were by how many times you visit. But maybe you were just leading me on. *sniff*
If you are a totally super cool full-of-awesomeness subscriber or receive our posts via email, then you shouldn’t be affected, but if you are, just come looking for us over at http://www.imalazymom.com/, mkay? We’d hate to see you lost in the great abyss that we call the world wide web without us! That would be scary. Like, totally.
I plan on changing our lazy, lazy site over to our new address at some point today. However, since I am a lazy Lazy Mom (and I don’t just play one one on the internet) you never really know when it may happen. So I’ll keep you posted. Sound good?
Enough of the craziness!! Let’s get on to the tip!
Tip #30 is a great tip brought to you today by the letter T.
T, as in, Trudy.
She emailed it to me a while back and it’s a good one!
Here’s what she had to say…
We kept a bag of books and quiet toys in the car when our son was young. This bag was only to be played with if we went out to eat dinner. They kept him from getting bored in a restaurant. He played happily and we were able to have a leisurely (sort of) dinner.
As a second tip to that, we went out of town every weekend and we had a different bag of toys in the car for the car ride.
Isn’t that a great idea?!
So what are some toy packing ideas? What toys would you pack in a bag to be used only when eating out?
