1. Solution to sweating water bottles that leave marks on tables: put a sock on it! Perfect. I always use an ankle-length sock. My boys use this trick when taking a water bottle to school so their water bottle doesn’t leave water on their desk and get their papers wet. ~ Carrie White
2. An easy doorstop when you have toddlers who love to open/shut doors and you don’t want them too. (Can’t tell you how many times a cat has been locked in a closet!) Grab a pool noodle when they’re on clearance in the fall and you instantly have enough doorstops for an entire house! Cut the noodle into 3-4 inch pieces and cut each piece down the center (which is hollow). Place it on the door up high where your toddler can’t reach! ~ Diana Mattoni
3. I keep a fully stocked “guest basket” at all times for overnight guests, so that no matter the short notice I have a comfortable sleep-over situation for anyone. Suggested items to keep in a Guest Basket: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, granola bar, water bottle, face-wipes/makeup remover, and pain reliever packet (such as Tylenol). You could take it further and add cutesy items but this has worked out well for us and our house guests have all been very appreciative of it. I choose to use full-size items that will last a long time versus little travel size items, but it’s up to you to personalize it for your home. ~ Amy Broughton
