The other day I walked passed a bag of tortilla chips and lovingly thought to myself, “Wow, look at my kids! They rolled down the top of the bag and put a chip clip thingy on those.”
Then I stopped dead in my tracks and noticed the big gaping hole in the tortilla bag.
Needless to say, we’re still perfecting this valuable skill around here.
My 10 year old son wanted to spend some gift card money he had, and my heart was just so full of warm fuzzies when he decided upon a Superman cape.
I mean seriously… he’s 10 and still wants to play with a Superman cape! *LOVE*
It made me think of him when he was a preschooler and how he’d dress regularly in super hero apparel.
Did your mom heart just fill with warm fuzzies? Cause it should have!
Tomorrow is Lazy Dad’s birthday! I made sure to wrap his birthday present in totally grown up, not-at-all-immature wrapping paper.
You know, cause he’s so grown up and not-at-all-immature.
Speaking of birthdays. I found this really funny birthday card when I was shopping for Lazy Dad’s. It made me laugh out loud in the middle of the card aisle.
Incidentally, I’m now thinking about writing a book entitled, “How To Live An Adequate Life.” It’s sure to be a best seller!
I’ve been teaching my kids how to read their Bibles until God speaks to them.
It’s been fun to show them how to do this for themselves! (Remember, that’s what being a Lazy Mom is all about.)
In other news, lightning bugs are back!
It’s officially summer now.
