I’ve been meaning to finish this birthday plate I started painting for my daughter, ohhhh, about 3 years ago.
The ‘paint your own pottery’ place closed right after I got this far with it. I’ve been MEANING to complete it. You know, every year she has a birthday? And now that her birthday is coming up this month I am searching for a place to finally do so. Problem is, the closest place to my house is about an hour away!!
I’ve been meaning to sew these patches on my 8 year olds Cub Scout uniform. STILL.
I’ve been meaning to move this mirror up in my daughter’s room.
We put it down at her height so she could play dress up and watch herself dance. But she’s grown, inevitably, and now her head is cut off in the mirror. So yeah… meaning to move that up for her….
I’ve been meaning to paint this bird house that my 8 year old gave me for Mother’s Day and then left unpainted so I could paint it myself. Wasn’t that so thoughtful of him?
And as you can see, I’ve gotten RIGHT on top of painting his thoughtful gift.
I’ve been meaning to chop up these ginormous zucchinis from our garden and saute them in some butter. Because isn’t that how God intended us to eat fresh vegetables? Sauteed in BUTTER?
And lastly, I’ve been meaning to give this box of coffee pods away to someone who actually HAS a Nescafe’ machine. Cause I don’t. And I won these off of Twitter… about 8 months ago.
Yup. I’ve just been waiting for someone to stroll into my life and announce they have a Nescafe’ machine. And then I’d be all, “Wait! I have coffee pods that go with a Nescafe’ machine that I won off Twitter and I’ve been waiting for someone to come into my life that actually has a Nescafe’ machine!!” And I’d be all super cool and give it to them and stuff.
So. That’s what I’ve been meaning to do… what have YOU been meaning to do?
